This policy explains data processing on Editor Solar (solarweb.site), a diagram tool that runs in your browser. No account is required. It describes the current version of the service.

Projects and browser storage
Diagrams, names, notes and connections are processed in your browser. The automatic draft and language preference are stored locally on your device (localStorage). The application does not send project contents to the server. Opened JSON files are read locally, and exports are generated on your device.
Local storage is not a cookie and has no automatic expiry set by the editor. You can clear it in your browser settings. This can also delete your draft: save a JSON file first if you want to keep it.
Voluntary suggestions
Sending a suggestion transmits only the text you enter, limited to 256 characters. The form does not request a name or email address. Avoid including personal information, sensitive information or other people’s data.
Suggestions are saved as plain text in a private hosting folder. Filenames contain a UTC timestamp and a random identifier. Your IP address is received with the connection but is not saved in the suggestion file. To limit abuse, the server temporarily keeps an identifier derived from the IP, using a daily random key, and submission times. This is pseudonymized processing, not a guarantee of anonymity.
Hosting, technical logs and statistics
Hostinger provides the hosting infrastructure. Site access may generate technical logs such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser information, server response and approximate location inferred from the IP. These records support operation, security, troubleshooting and hosting traffic statistics.
The editor does not include Google Analytics. Google AdSense code is installed for site verification and review, as described below. The infrastructure provider may use technical security mechanisms according to its services and policies.
Purposes, legal bases and sharing
Data is used to operate and protect the site, receive and evaluate suggestions and handle privacy requests. Security and service improvement rely on legitimate interests, subject to individuals’ rights; legal obligations and the establishment or exercise of rights may require specific retention or disclosure. Consent will be requested where required for optional features.
Access is limited to the operator, providers necessary to run the service such as Hostinger, and recipients required by law. We do not sell personal data. Infrastructure and providers may involve processing outside Brazil; details of Hostinger’s network and processing terms are linked below.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains in your browser until replaced or deleted by you or the browser. Suggestions have no scheduled automatic deletion: they remain in the private folder until manually removed. You can request deletion using the contact on this page; applicable legal obligations may justify retention.
Abuse-control records are renewed upon the first valid submission processed on a new UTC day; without new submissions, the last record may remain until renewal or manual removal. Log and backup retention depends on hosting services and settings. Deleting an active file does not mean every backup copy is immediately removed.
Your rights and contacting us
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, information about sharing, deletion or anonymization where applicable, objection and withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis. Send requests to danilonasc@gmail.com. To locate a suggestion, give its approximate date and a text excerpt, avoiding unnecessary data. We may ask only for proportionate information to verify a request.
We do not keep a remote copy of projects stored in your browser and cannot delete them remotely. You may also seek guidance or submit a petition to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
AdSense verification and review
Google AdSense code loads on the pages to verify ownership and allow site review. When it loads, the browser communicates with Google and may transmit technical data such as IP address, visited URL and browser or device information. Google may use cookies or local storage according to its policies and applicable consent choices.
At this update, the site is under review. Two responsive ad spaces are configured only on the user-guide pages; they may remain empty until approval. The editor, canvas and this policy contain no manual ad units. Before ads are served where law or Google policy requires consent, the corresponding controls will be configured, including a certified consent management platform in the required regions. Security and policy changes
We use HTTPS, input validation, submission limits and private plain-text suggestion storage. These measures reduce risks, but no system eliminates every risk. Do not send secrets, passwords or sensitive information through the form.
Changes to the service will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Introducing advertising or new measurement services requires a new assessment of privacy information and controls.
